25 Weeks
How far: 25 weeks! It still amazes me how fast this pregnancy is going.
Girl/Boy: Baby Boy
Weight Gained: I will know exactly at my next appointment in a couple of weeks.
Best Moment of the Week: Since we've already experienced our first 100* temperature here. I couldn't wait to bring out our fun water pad for Shannon. She loves it! Plus we met with some friends for a bbq this weekend.
What I Miss: I've been feeling so sluggish lately and I don't know why. My guess is probably the hot weather but it's still annoying.
What's New: Since the hubby had the day off on Monday, I decided to utilize that free time to go take my glucose test. Fun! Honestly, it's not as bad as people say it is. Other than arriving to the Drs hungry and drinking what tastes like flat soda, it's really not that bad. I've been told that the orange flavor drink is disgusting. I on the other hand don't mind lemon lime. I guess just base it on whether you'd prefer orange or lemon lime soda and you should be able to get through it.

Friday Find - Toddler "Zoo Lunchie" lunch box
This was actually a gift from my Hubby's Aunt but I'm so thankful we have it now. She gave Shannon a little bee lunch box and I immediately fell in love with it. Even though Shannon doesn't go to daycare or school yet, this insulated bag will be so useful for when we travel or go to the park and want to have lunch their too. I'm in love with all of their designs (they have many to choose from) including this ladybug design. They also have a really cute fox one too! I definitely need to pick up some of the accessories to go with it!

Easter Week Festivities
I love Easter time and the traditions that come with the holidays. Easter morning went the same way for years with my family. Go to church in our new outfits, come home and raid our Easter baskets (ok, maybe we did a little but of this before church), then wait patiently for my Dad to make ham & eggs for us, while Ben Hur or some other really old movie was playing in the background. Then after the mayhem was over... Nap... While golf was on in the background.
Ah, the memories.
This year we celebrated Easter at our home with my Dad. It was so nice to have him here to be with Shannon and take tons of pictures/videos. We started the morning with Shannon having to search for her hidden Easter basket (Lee's family tradition.) Halfway down the stairs, she spotted it and ran right towards it. There was absolutely no hesitation... she immediately ripped the stuff out of it. Hilarious!
Even though this wasn't Shannon's first Easter, this was her first time egg hunting. She wasn't really sure what was going on in the beginning but then got the hang of it. She had so much fun finding the eggs and of course, popping each one open to see what was inside. About half-way through she got the hang of putting it in her basket each time.
It was such a great weekend, despite the exhaustion that comes with any holiday. I was so glad that my Dad was able to be here and share this special time with all of us. I love this picture (below) Shannon was playing with my Dad's famous foo man choo mustache.

Friday Find - Hummingbird Feeder
Anyway, this Friday find can be found at Lowe's for $9.99. It comes in 4 different colors (red, blue, yellow and green) Lowe's website sells them for $14.99. You can find it here I was in desperate need of a new hummingbird feeder after my last one fell and broke to pieces. Since I'm pretty much in love with anything rustic, I just knew I needed this for my garden.
You can either buy the hummingbird mix, either the powder or liquid. Or you can make your own for a fraction of the price! Here's the recipe I use:
2 Tbsp. of granulated sugar for every ounce of water.
You can also add red food coloring but that is optional.
