A little taste of heritage

Lee & I got together with a couple of friends and went bar hopping. We ended up going to a German Hafbrauhause and an Irish Pub. We ended up having a giant pretzel, a liter of beer while watching people pay money to have the German waitresses spank them (really hard) with a wooden paddle, and then finishing the night with an awesome Irish band, Irish car bomb, and an Apple crumble. Weekend was a success!

This was the big debut of my guitar playing!!! I get to play guitar and the kids love it, plus if I mess up... they really don't care!

Lee's parents came down for one last visit before school started and they brought their two dogs Lacy and Bailey. Flynn was so excited to see his best friend again. He loves Bailey!

Toby Keith & Eric Church Concert

One of the main perks about living here is the constant selection of all different kind of concerts. We had amazing seats! Floor seats!
Plus, we also had a girls night out! Dinner and a show!

Parents in Vegas!

Parent's Visit

My parents came down to see us last week and we had a blast hanging out with them. We spent most of our time relaxing at home, laying out by the pool at the Red Rock Casino (less than a mile away), driving to coffee bean, and also saving an old man at the CVS store. The poor guy fell and my Mom was the only one to offer help to the guy.

I knew this trip was going to be an awesome one, when at the beginning of it my parents ran into Evander Holyfield at the airport! My Mom took a picture with him! Let's just say she kept making jokes the whole visit on how her and "Vander" were super close!" It was hilarious!

Mom & Dad, We had a blast with you guys and We love you and miss you a ton!

Cayucos, California is the type of place where the weather is cool but you can still get a tan, doggies are allowed on the beach, and you can walk a couple of steps to amazing sea food (smoked fish tacos to be exact). Lee & I spent a total of 5 days in Cayucos going to the beach, visiting Morro Bay and eating sea food at every chance we had. We had a blast! We miss it already!
Lee's family joined us and we had a so much fun watching the puppies enjoy the ocean.

Flynn was a little unsure of why water was rushing at him and why his paws were sinking in the sand when the wave was pulling back. I swear I can tell what he's thinking just by his facial expressions.

He enjoyed biting the seaweed and making the little bulbs pop, chasing the birds (our feet were killing us at the end of this trip), naps after a long day at the beach ~he would instantly be knocked out as soon as his head hit the bed.
