Back in Maryland
I'm so glad to be back in Maryland. It's absolutely gorgeous here! I can't believe its almost been a year since Lee & I were calling Maryland our home. My boss sent another teacher and I to a conference in Baltimore and we found out that the Baltimore Oriols were playing the Boston Red Sox. Can't you tell we're working hard? We're working on team building. :)

My sisters are here!
This weekend my sisters are here visiting us in fabulous Las Vegas. It's always a crazy party when they are in town. Their was a lot dancing (do the dolphin dance) and Amanda even won some money. "You go girl" I still can't believe Lyss is 21! It's weird seeing her with a drink in hand. We even ran into an old high school friend. Good times.

St. Baldricks
On St. Patty's day, my school hosted a local family's foundation to try and conquor kids cancer. The event consisted of having a local comedian introduce all of the "shavees" to the stage and having the whole school witness the selfless act of shaving your head or donating your hair.
The McMullan family lost their 1year old daughter 16 years ago to cancer. Each year they have hosted St. Baldricks at their local pub they owned here in town. However, their daughter who is now in 8th grade wanted to have our school raise money for this wonderful cause.
Our goal was to raise $17,000! Crazy money right!
As a school, we raised over $86,000!! I am so proud to have been able to be a part of this wonderful event, as well as donate 10 inches of my hair to charity.
I also had a wonderful Early Childhood parent offer to style my hair for me...
This is the shortest its ever been!

Yay! Now I can relax!
Our Spring Performance went so well. The kids did such a great job! My poor little pre-schoolers were exhausted afterwards.
I had such a fun time teaching the song to the kids. However, it is such a weight lifted off my shoulders now that the performance is over.
This picture is after the show was over. I will have many more to post of the kids amazing costumes.

Spring Performance EC Sock Hop
I am so excited for our Spring Performance on Wednesday! I can't believe the performance day is already here. All of the kids worked so hard on learning the songs and.choreography. I can't wait to see it all come together.
I am so thankful that I had parents like Jenn who spent a lot of her own time and money to make this program amazing.
Our songs are all from the 50's. Most of the classes are singing at least 1 Elvis song and my little pre-school class are going to be dressed as the king himself.
I'll try to post a video of the performance soon.

flynn
I am such a proud mom of my little puppy. He is 4 months now and is already bigger than a lot of dogs we see on our walks. He's loves meeting new dogs. Last week he met a big golden retriever at the park and watched him play fetch with his owner. Flynn had a look on his face that said, "how come I can't go run off leash?" He absolutely loves the outdoors and no matter how far we walk him, be always runs inside and wants to play with his toys or wrestle with dad.
I have to admit that he is somewhat a spoiled dog. He has many many toys. Today he became very protective of those toys when lee asked if he could see his bone. I'm sure you can tell how flynn felt about that in the picture.
